EASY MATCHA DONUTS

EASY MATCHA DONUTS (Makes 9)

  • 1 Scoop (30g) Vanilla WPI
  • 2 tbs self raising GF Flour
  • 3 tbs Almond Meal
  • 2 tbs granulated stevia
  • 1 tsp Being Co. matcha
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup egg whites
  • 20g coconut oil
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbs sticky sweetener

GLAZE

  • 90g white chocolate
  • ½  tsp Matcha
  • 1 tbs desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs

METHOD:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a heat proof bowl gently warm almond milk together with coconut oil until coconut oil melts (30 seconds should be enough) stir to dissolve. Once melted add other wet ingredients to the almond milk mixture. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour wet ingredients into the dry. Using a whisk, whisk to combine well.
  3. ¾ fill the donut moulds with batter (it should be quite a runny batter). Bake for 6-8 mins in a fan forced oven at 180 degrees.
